Ms. Unni Merethe Skorstad Fjær

Ms. Unni Merethe Skorstad Fjær is Equinor's Vice President and Country Manager for Tanzania, currently focusing on negotiating a commercial, fiscal and legal framework that enable partners to develop the huge gas discoveries offshore the southern coasts of the country. Ms. Fjær has over 30 years of experience in Equinor, previously holding postitions as acting Country Manager for Canada and Location Manager in Hammerfest, Norway, responsible for the company’s LNG production. Ms. Fjær holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
