Managing Partner, Golding Capital Partners (UK) Limited

Mr. Alex von Sponeck is the Managing Partner, Co-Head EM Private Debt Impact at Golding Capital Partners (UK) Limited. He has over 20 years of professional experience in Emerging Markets credit, with a primary focus on origination. He began his career as a lawyer at White & Case in New York and Istanbul. He then held a variety of senior roles at Merrill Lynch International, Goldman Sachs International, and Helios Credit Partners. He has originated and executed multiple debt transactions across Africa, Asia, Central Eastern Europe and the Middle East spanning a wide range of industries and structures.  

Mr. Alex von Sponeck holds a Bachelor’s in Law (LL.B) School of Oriental and African Studies, University of and a Master’s in Law (LL.M) from Harvard Law School. He qualified as a member of the New York Bar in 1996.
